What the InstaHeadshots rebrand actually changed
InstaHeadshots started as a headshot experiment in late 2023. By 2026 the company folded the product into Magic Studio, a wider personal-photo platform. The headshot engine did not get a new lab run because it is the same engine. instaheadshots.com permanently redirects to magicstudio.com/headshots. App sessions now open at app.magicstudio.com with the original email or Google sign-in.
Accounts, credits, teams, favourites, edits, and zips moved. The rank did not. AI Headshot Guru does not list Magic Studio as a second #1. Pages that already rank for InstaHeadshots coupon, review, and vs BetterPic stay on those URLs. This page exists for people who now type Magic Studio headshots.
One trap: the original Magic Studio photo-editor login and the former InstaHeadshots login can share an email and still be two accounts. An empty gallery usually means the wrong door. Use the hop on this page.

The lab used the slower of those windows in copy so a buyer is not sold a miracle. Likeness is why the pack is #1, not the marketing. Older faces were not youth-filtered. Hair stayed the colour uploaded. Failures were the usual: melted glasses, a grin from a dating preset, a background that fought a navy LinkedIn header.

Magic Studio asks for about ten images. The lab used eight to twelve. The model copies what it is fed. A single bathroom selfie repeated ten times produces ten bathroom clones in nicer clothes. Mixed angles and a window beat a ring light every time. Hair, glasses, and facial hair should match the day the headshot has to be used — not the holiday the stills were taken.

Who Magic Studio is for
